Pre-discovery detection of the nova candidate AT2018jib in M31

We report a pre-discovery detection of the M31 nova candidate AT2018jib on the images taken on 2018 Dec. 02.817 UT with the 50/70cm Schmidt telescope at NAO Rozhen, Bulgaria. The derived R magnitude from co-added 3x300 sec frames is 18.59 ± 0.09.
