We obtained a few optical spectra of SN 2018bek,discovered by Jaroslaw Grzegorzek,on UT May 05-09 2018 with the 3.5m telescope (+Dual Imaging Spectrograph) at the Apache Point Observatory, the 2.16-m telescope(+BFOSC) at Xinglong Observatory of NAOC, and the Lick 3.0-m telescope (+Kast) at Lick Observatory. The spectra are characterized by blue continuums, with weak but discernible broad and narrow balmer lines, consistent with that of a young type II supernova exploded in a hyrogen-rich circumstellar environment. Followup observations are encouraged.
