The Swift BAT instrument detects a new outburst of the LMXB transient 4U 1608-522, beginning around June 12 and still rising to a current level of 250 mCrab (15-50 keV) as of June 15. This is the first outburst of this source in nearly a year (ATEL #851, #855, #857, #858).
The BAT light curve can be viewed on the Swift/BAT Hard X-ray Transient Monitor page (ATEL #904) http://swift.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/swift/results/transients/H1608-522/
