We obtained low-resolution optical spectra (range 3600-9600 Angs., FWHM res ~ 8 Angs.) of ASASSN-17ot/AT2017hzv (ATel #10967), ATLAS17myf/AT2017hvr, AT2017hyj (ATLAS discovery), and Gaia17cvb/AT2017hyz on UT 2017 Nov. 14 with WFCCD mounted on the du Pont 2.5m at Las Campanas Observatory. We performed cross-correlation of the spectra with a library of supernova spectra using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024). The results are the following:
SN UT Date Spec. Type Phase Redshift
------------------------------------------------------------
ASASSN-17ot Nov 14.34 Ia -1 0.037(SN)
AT2017hvr Nov 14.17 Ia -1 0.030808(NED)
AT2017hyj Nov 14.15 Ia 0 0.056046(NED)
AT2017hyz Nov 14.02 II young 0.018036(NED)
Gaia17cvb/AT2017hyz shows a blue continuum with Balmer (FWHM H-alpha ~ 10000 km/s) and Fe II lines, indicating a relatively young event.
