We observed the type-Ib/c supernova DLT17ch (=SN 2017 gax; ATel #10638)
for approximately 8 hrs with the Australia Telescope Compact Array
starting on 2017-08-20 19:34 UTC.
The array was in the EW352 configuration which has a resolution of
around 30" at 5.5 GHz. Imaging at 5.5 GHz was somewhat hampered by the
presence of strong continuum emission from the host galaxy.
We observed with 2 GHz bandwidth centered on the frequencies as shown
below. We do not detect any radio emission from the position of DLT17ch
with the following 5 sigma upper limits:
5.5 GHz: < 800 uJy
9 GHz: < 250 uJy
16.7 GHz: < 360 uJy
21.2 GHz: < 300 uJy
33 GHz: < 330 uJy
35 GHz: < 430 uJy
43 GHz: < 480 uJy
45 GHz: < 600 uJy
The 9 GHz flux density upper limit implies a luminosity density less than
4.3 x 10^25 erg/sec/Hz assuming a distance of 12 Mpc.
We thank the ATCA staff for facilitating this observation.
