We report on a continuing Target of Opportunity (ToO) observation of SN 2007gr on 2007 Aug 25 by the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) in the L-band between UT 0300 to 0500. The central frequency was 1390 MHz with a bandwidth of 32 MHz. Radio emission from the SN was not detected in this observation with a 2 sigma upper limit of 220 microJansky (uJy) at the position of the SN. The corresponding map rms is about 110 uJy. We thank the staff of GMRT who made this observation possible. GMRT is run by the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).
